Dallas, Snow, and the Super Bowl!!!!!

Well my first day back in town was crazy busy!!!!  I am so lucky to be able to work with the NFL Hall of Fame on a Special Project each year (think gold jackets) and today I was able to meet a number of the NFLs greats at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Merlin Olsen Luncheon hosted by Anthony Munoz and special honoree Mr. Cowboy himself, Bob Lilly!!!
Here are a couple of the players sharing some of the great memories from their days on the field.

I can't share much but there is some exciting things happening this year!  Boy am I going to be busy.
I have to say all of the players are so nice--I got to meet a few of my hometown heroes from the Kansas City Chiefs.

I have a ton to work through on Saturday but I have the big game on the mind!  How my luck got me to go to the game, not real sure but it is bound to be a good time

Stinkin' of you! Sneek peak at the new Pink by Design Stamps!

Happy Friday!  I am so glad to be home--if you all knew that my flight from Delhi was canceled at then I had a massive wait for the next flight, had to connect in London and did not get home tell last night and I still get my post done!  Now I can breathe----
Well today is the first day of the new design team for Sarah (the pink cricut) and Pink by Design stamps--I was lucky enough to be chosen to be part of the design team and I was not going to miss the first day!  That was not an option!
This stamp is a sneak peak of the new Woodland Critters stamp set!  You must go to the Pink by Design Store to see all the new release that will be revealed later today--they stamp great right out of the package and the sayings are super cute.  Sarah will be releasing them later today so make sure you check her blog and the Pink by Design Store for more details.

Since we are approaching Feb14--I figured I would use a love theme color palette and what seems to be every ones fav cartridge: Create a Critter!  I cut the skunk at 4".  My Minds Eye is one of my top pick paper companies and I used the front and back of a double sided sheet on this card.  A little bit of the SU seam binding ribbon give a nice touch.  As you all know this cartridge is pretty easy to layer but I was not loving the black eyes the cut gives me--so I dug through my bin and found these google eyes from Joanne's---I think they really add the needed touch!   Sort of a dopey in love look!  Don't forget to head over to the Pink Cricut blog to see the rest of the talented design teams creations.
Make it a great one

conversation hearts card using cricut simply charmed cartridge

Conversation Hearts are one of my least fav candies for Valentine's Day but not having a box is like not having candy canes at Christmas.  I used Simply Charmed for this cut and pattern paper from We R Memory Makers.
I added a bit to the envelope of this one as well.  Whenever one of my cards arrives in the mailbox, my friend always know that it's from me because of the envelope.

There is a cuttlebug conversation hearts folder that worked perfectly on this card.
Of course I had to finish off the inside with a little color and ribbon!
Headed home on a 12:05 flight from Delhi and arrive in Dallas on Thursday morning--we will finally be back on the same day!  Can't wait!
Make it a great one!

Cricut Lite Billionaire + Valentine's Day= Super Cute Card

Well India is India!  I have a couple more days than off to home I go!  I simply can't wait to sleep in my own bed.  I have taken some great pictures and picked up some fun blog candy along the way--watch for another Where in the World is Scrapguy later in February.

Today's card is one of my all time fav cuts from the cricut--this is from the Billionaire Cricut Lite Cartridge and is super easy to put together.  The card is larger than my usual A2 but for this cut the bigger the better due to some thin parts!  I used the polka dot cuttle bug folder for the base and sanded it to get some white showing through the grey.  I used SU patten paper, SU glitter paper, and CTMH solid paper.  I got the pink pearls from the $1 bling booth at one of the scrapbook shows.

Just a little detail shot for you--when I need just a simple card I use this cut for the front--it makes a great all occasion notecard!
Thanks for stopping in, make it a great one! Valentine's

XOXO card using Cricut Walk in My garden Cartridge

Hello everyone--I am leaving Bangkok to day on my way to India for three days.  I stayed at the most amazing hotel this weekend right on the beach---my own bit of paradise.  I am going to have to plan an extended stay later this year! Sorry there was no comments on Fridays blog post--had some connection issues--go figure!  This card was super simple--I used MME pattern paper, some SU seam binding ribbon, the textile cuttlebug folder and CTMH solid card stock that matched the pattern paper.
To make the flower I cut the same flower at 1/4" intervals.  starting at 2 1/4" working my way down to 11/2" added an antique brad for the flower center an attached it whole thing with pop dots.  I did a lot of inking on the flowers to give it some depth in color level.  I for the darker red paper, it is actually the back side of the pattern paper so you get a little but of marbling with in the flower segments.
Just a close up shot for ya!  Thanks for stopping in and leaving such great comments!  You all rock!  I have more projects for this week so keep stoppin in!
Make it a great one
